First stop of our trip is ... The Tiger who came to Tea

A marvelous book about a tiger who visited a girl's house to tea and ....all the mess it caused.

Through a variety of flashcards (credits: Twinkl.com ) and realia we tried to attract the kids' interest to the story which proved to be a very successful step to introduce them to the British culture and a typical part of it ... tea-drinking.

So, the pupils where invited to a tea party... and enjoyed their tea together with cookies.

 

After that, they carefully listened to the story of the tiger, where emphasis was given to food items, rooms of the house and family members.
