Carnival Crime

The story is taken from The British Council's webpage. In the spirit of the current carnival period, we saw an interesting ppt presentation, and then we discussed different festive customs around the world, the great Floats, the masquteers and the Samba Street Parade in Rio de Janeiro. Then, we unfolded this crime story in a captivating way. The kids got really involved in trying to guess what the thieves were and what happened next. They also tried to imagine what the costumes looked like, how the masquteers reacted and, finally, they managed to solve the mystery.
